Made of 100% hand spun yarn, the Dhora eri silk scarf by Yarn Glory is dyed using naturally sourced turmeric and teak tree leaves. Eri silk was also called ahimsa silk - or peace silk - by Gandhi, owing to the cruelty-free way the silk is harvested without harming the silk worms. Because each scarf is made by hand, individual pieces may vary slightly. We think this enhances their beauty. Yarn Glory is an ethical, sustainable, and vegan textile company based in Assam, India. Yarn Glory is driven by their mission to provide economic opportunities for women across Northern India and preserving the ancient heritage of handloom weaving.
