eCommerce Specialist

The specialist will be responsible for providing day to day customer service, product knowledge support, and order fulfillment duties. They will report to the VP of eCommerce.


  • Manage all eCommerce customer communication via email, social media, phone etc…
  • Maintain all aspects of the back end of the website, including uploading product images and copy.
  • Ensure online content is accurate and up to date on the Satya Jewelry website
  • Merchandise the website categories on a weekly basis with minimal guidance
  • Monitor inventory levels and alert the VP of eCommerce when items are low/out of stock
  • Upload and schedule all email blasts on Mailchimp
  • Generate reports as needed to support the eCommerce business such as best sellers and email performance analysis
  • Identify and implement SEO improvements and opportunities
  • Screen fraud orders daily through
  • Process returns, repairs and replacements
  • Process and acknowledge on-line orders and follow up on lost in transits, delayed and expedited orders
  • Assist Inventory Manager in packing and shipping orders as needed


  • Experience with Shopify and Mailchimp
  • Some knowledge of HTML desired but not required
  • 1 year of web merchandising, ecommerce, or online retail experience
  • Exceptional communication skills, including writing emails, and verbal skills
  • Ability to thrive in a small business environment
  • Detail oriented and excellent follow through
  • Ability to balance work independently with minimal supervision and be able to respond effectively to competing priorities
