Role: Director of E-Commerce
Satya Jewelry, the original and leading yoga inspired jewelry brand is seeking an exceptionally strategic, creative, positive and energetic Director of E-Commerce to join our NYC team. At Satya Jewelry - an 18-year-old, privately owned accessories brand – we’re looking for an entrepreneurial spirit who will play an integral part in managing the website, paid media and affiliate programs for our established brand.Our ideal candidate likes to roll up their sleeves and hit their deadlines. S/he is a seasoned professional in diverse areas, including web design, email marketing, digital ads, print signage and packaging. We are passionate about yoga, meditation and wellness in general, and would love candidates who are, too. The candidate will work directly with the Founder and COO, though should have the balance of a self-starter and dedicated team member.

    The Ideal Candidate Will…
      • Leverage web and digital marketing efforts, to identify and optimize opportunities to drive traffic and customer acquisition
      • Improve customer experience through all channels including content, social, email, SEO, SEM, user experience, and data analytics
      • Acquire new customers at scale, and driving strong retention and customer lifetime value
      • Work collaboratively across our merchandising, creative, customer service and operations teams and partners, as well as marketing channel vendors, in order to implement the necessary digital programs to drive success
      • Manage and grow the eCommerce team including recruiting, training and personnel development
      • Direct all aspects of E-Commerce site to meet revenue objectives through driving qualified traffic to the site via email, Display, Social Media, and SEM, affiliate, and retargeting.
      • Perform optimization and multivariate testing across site to maximize ROI, increase conversion rate
      • Manage and execute monthly web calendar
      • Oversea Affiliate programs
      • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify, build, implement, and measure digital and viral marketing strategies
      • Oversee merchandising of site in order to drive sales, including managing Shopify
      • Develop and implement strategies focused on driving qualified traffic to the website, generating revenue, promoting products and services, and enhancing the online customer experience within a ROI criteria
      • Design and deliver reporting on weekly/monthly/annual basis for ecommerce
      • Monitors and analyzes the trends and performance of web marketing efforts and online customer/prospect behavior via ROI, web analytics, and email campaign data
      • Interact with all cross-functional areas of the company to ensure that our web presence and execution supports key initiatives, reduces costs, and builds sales
      • Manages external vendors/partners for a variety of web initiatives
      • Manage departmental budget
        The Ideal Candidate Has…
            • Experience with paid advertising (e.g. Google Adwords, Facebook advertising, display), digital analytics (e.g. Google Analytics, A/B testing), email marketing (e.g. newsletters, triggered, segmentation), conversion rate optimization (e.g. email capture, landing page optimization, conversion funnel), and Shopify platform
            • 7-10 years of web strategy, marketing, and web management experience with focus on web best practices, usability, user experience, online buying behavior
            • Proven track record of web sales growth
            • Experience in effectively managing a web platform partner and others
            • Accessories, fashion experience preferred but not required
            • Excelled on diverse teams and strives to be an excellent communicator
            • Undergraduate degree in Marketing, Business or related field
