March Inspiration: Growth

This month, we embrace growth. Inspired by the insistent green shoots that break through the still-frozen soil, we are reminded that growth is essential to reach our beautiful potential.

Before we can bloom, we must expand, chafing against that which constrains us and pushing onward into the light. Often, growth is challenging. It is uncomfortable. It asks that we carry on when we want to give up; that we commit to ourselves before committing to others. Growth is determined, pushing us out of our comfort zones and encouraging us to be more: To take up more space, to dream bigger, to ask for what we want, to tear down the boundaries that have held us in place for far too long.

This month heralds the spring season. Nature will demonstrate growth in countless ways-- a roadmap for us to follow as we seek to accept and embrace growth and change. Fat buds will appear on naked branches; bulbs that have wintered beneath the soil will burst through the ground in varying shades of green. None of this is without effort. Yet the rewards of growth--the leaves that begin to flutter on trees, the flowers that color the ground at our feet--are even sweeter for having struggled to come into being.

This month, how will you challenge yourself to grow? How will you show up for yourself, so you may expand your place in the Universe? However you embrace growth, may it reward you with sweetness and beauty, with love and grace.
